One of the nation's most respected physicists has warned that fidget spinners – a fad device popular with students – could have a harmful effect on the Earth's center of gravity. In a research paper published in a leading scientific journal, Professor M#######T######of Denver, Colorado has outlined his findings that suggest the exponential growth of fidget spinners could theoretically throw the earth’s centre of gravity out of alignment. Professor Taylor outlined how a cascade of fidget spinners, rotating in the same direction, could impact the rotation of the earth. "Gravitational pull is an invisible force that causes massive objects to pull other objects towards them. For example, when a person jumps up in the air, it is the earth's gravitational pull that causes them to return to the ground. In the case of fidget spinners, if enough of them are rotating in unison, they have the potential to create enough gravitational pull to effect the orbit of the planet." Assuming enough of the toys were spinning at the same time, Professor Taylor hypothesized that the impact could be devastating. "Many people may not realize this, but that earth's center of gravity is not as stable as you may think. A harmonized cascade of these fidget spinners, aligned in the direction of their spin, could be enough to modify the planet's center of gravity to the point that we deviate from our normal orbit." |

| As a long time Roblox player I have studied this effect in depth, in fart I wrote my doctoral thesis on this exact subject. My research lines up well with doctor M#######T######. This is a grave issue that, within the next year or so may spell the end for humanity. |

not true if this were true, we'd have been sent out of orbit a long time ago there are many more tires on vehicles spinning than there are fidget spinners, and they do basically the same thing

| This is blatantly false. First of all, Automobile tires are mostly in contact with the earths surface which creates rolling friction which allows the earth to keep its rotation. This was one of the problems solved when ##### #### created the assembly line. this allowed wheels to be constantly touching the ground. The automotive industry has known of this issue for the last hundred years and has taken preventative measures. A precaution the fidget spinner industry, which is now approaching a trillion dollar industry has refused to take. |
