roblox please move from lua to ruby because of how much easier it is to learn it and its also pretty powerful scripting language.
alot of new people would like this easier scripting language because it wouldnt take as much time to learn it and as hard. besides who already understands and can roblox lua will not be left hanging because they are pretty similar and besides to know more then one language is good! |

| P.S. people who learned ruby can move on easier to new language like c++ which is used in game engines and so on! |

| Yeah, but adding a scripting language to a game is no slice of pie. While I think adding ruby would be a good idea the time and work it would take to implement it would be pretty big. |

I understand but its still a "upgrade"
ROBLOX one last thing if not ruby the please PLEASE add drag and drop scripting so called "blueprints" its still easier then learning lua for whole year and still have trouble writing it.
Example for "blueprints" unreal engine 4. |

@Yunic C# would be intimidating for new people that want to learn how to script.
Your lack of Robux disturbs me. |

Definitely, would encourage people to learn and script then being overwhelmed by all this coding language someone wouldn't understand. My friends have been overwhelmed and scared by this before (and they have quit scripting/coding in Roblox Studio all in one) and an option for an easier scripting language would be helpful to the ones that need it.
Though for more advanced users there definitely should be an option to use Lua and/or Ruby.

No support on the drag and drop scripting, i think there is a reason that they made it actual code so that kid can learn, well.. ACTUAL CODE. Plus drag and drop scripting does not allow advanced games that written out code does. Need an example? try to re-make your favorite roblox game on scratch or hour-of-code, you can do it! after all you did say its easier than actual scripting. |

| you do realize that roblox regularly converts lua to c++ so that it can run on this platform. converting to ruby would have to take some time. |

Honest opinion: Roblox needs two types of coding.
It needs an "Easy Coding" feature in which you can place in blocks of code such as those seen in the "Hours of Code" program... this type of coding could likely be used for tutorials only. This way, people can make easy tutorial games and learn coding along the way.
Along side this "Hour of Code" tutorial program is regular coding which the user can use to code his/ her own games outside of these tutorials.

drag and drop = for beginners and who don't really need scripting except for basic ones.
ruby and lua should be a thing.

drag&drop has tutorials based for 4 year olds, literally:
MoveWest()
MoveSouth()
CollectNectar()
and it's not even writing, just drag and drop.
