I hope they find a way to port it over, get rid of a couple features we don't need, and try to make it so it doesn't lag and crash as much.

Then we would be able to edit our games on tablet.

That would be really cool and way convenient, but there is NO WAY that the iOS can handle something like that, and it's a lot harder without a mouse and keyboard. I think your better off getting a laptop so you can edit on the go.

True, but I mostly play on iPad, and I would like them to try their hardest to make it happen. If they don't succeed, we will move on and continue to create on computer.

IIRC they had a working prototype for hack week so it could be possible.

It's really cool, but every average player knows you can't make a good game without scripts or programming.

Nice prototype. Even though it's currently meant for model making only, they can try to add on to this, and allow you to type in scripts and add plugins.

Look up OTG and bluetooth keyboards if you think scripting would be hard.
some phones have slide-out keyboards which would make it simple.
I support this BIG.

Sadly, I think it's the script engine that iOS cannot handle.

It can, the scripts run in x86 which IOS should support under emulation or roblox could port it to ARM.

They both can do it, they both run on ARM architectures. Do your research please, folks. |

"would run at low framerates"
no it wouldn't
Studio runs in the exact SAME engine as the player, if the device runs roblox games perfectly then studio will be the same.

No Support! How would you be able to make a game on a fo u r inch screen? That is totally impossible. I-pad might be able to work, but I mean seriously..what kind of lead developer is going to create their game on an I-pad.

@frame
think about tablets and android laptops.
You could do it on a 4 in screen easily, they could set things up for your displays DPI.

It's harder than you think man it would take over a year just to minimise every little thing onto a tablet. Just all of those buttons onto a tablet. It's never going to happen. It would be so slow you would not be able to do anything. Also just imagine just tapping all those little buttons on a tablet and you push the wrong button. See that's how tiny there going to be and we don't have that steady fingers to push on such a minimised button. Sorry man but I'm out on this on e :(

Again, things would be configured for the DPI, it would be an immediate downscale.
They wouldn't have to do much work, android has this BUILT in.
