South Africa Guide The SADTF, or the South African Defense and Trade Force, is a partner organization of the RCO, situated in South Africa. The SADTF are often known for their guerilla warfare, but RCO often see them as cannon fodder due to the amount of manpower available. South Africa will often do logistic roles, such as clean, or take care of RCO assets, but in combat, SADTF are sent, poorly armed as cannon fodder skirmishers. The SADTF role system allows for specialization of roles. The basic South African rank is the Serviceman. Like many other South Africans, he/she had enlisted for one of many reasons, such as their wage, or the promise of rewards after sufficient service. The standard serviceman is poorly armed, only equipped with a postwar Scotia, and for training purposes, Victoria SMGs. As a Private shows promise , the newly promoted Serviceman First Class may choose a SR in which he/she will serve in. And, 7 people max per role, exception being the Rifleman role. SPECIALIST RANKS: Specialist Ranks Rifleman - The basic rifleman, the backbone of any army, the cannon fodder, the idiots who volunteered for a poorly paying job with high casualty rate. These men have been equipped with imported Victoria SMGs, and perhaps other firearms, post and pre war. Weapon Specialist- Responsible for using specialized firearms to provide support to RCO and SADTF. Corpsman- They tend to wounds and make sure SADTF is healthy and well. Combat Engineer- These engineers have been trained to provide extra support for the infantry, similar to sappers. The engineers are responsible for clearing explosives, such as mines, and building barricades and structures. Radioman- They are responsible for communication among SADTF and RCO from either the main base of operations, or in the frontlines. They have a long range radio in which to do so. (Considering that we only fight in the WM Bay is is really pointless.) Medium Rank Specialists: These are able to host. Warrant Officer- They lead riflemen and other grunts for the SADTF, and are often equipped with superior firearms, maybe from RCO. Medical Warrant Officer - Responsible for leading the Corpsmen, simple. Logistics Officer- Responsible for assisting in checking logistics of RCO. Simple as that. STANDARD ISSUE OF THE SADTF The average SADTF is often seen with a SAAF S2000 Camo BDU. As for body armour, SADTF is not issued any form of body armour, due to it restricting movement speed, and SADTF often cannot purchase or obtain such equipment. The SADTF are also given rigging, in order to hold ammunition, and other small supplies. The average SADTF is given all above, and a backpack, water purification items, a few MREs, a mess kit, a blanket, and a short range radio. Servicemen are issued with Hykes, and SH-9MMs. Logistic roles and Corpsmen are issued with Dracias. Riflemen and weapon specialists are issued M14s, THOUGH, firearms such as machine guns, ABRs and MR01s can be issued. MRs are issued Victorias and Scotias. As for vehicles, because all our infantry is either lightly motorized or on foot, we only use unarmoured or lightly plated jeeps or trucks, often loaned by RCO. SADTF RP GUIDELINES Although SADTF includes many nationalities, please keep it logical. Meaning, no Nigerians. And note that RCO or any Europeans or Americans would avoid trying to join, due to the poor wages, and UEBC loyalty antics. But British officers will often be commanding SADTF. When you get a role, you stick with that role ICly. Do not change roles unless a raid calls for a specific role to be filled in. When a raid is called, and RCO calls us for assistance, you are obliged to help. When fighting Corsairs, try to keep yourself somewhat concealed, and don’t charge unless the circumstances call for it. Limit void jokes. Customs are permitted, but they have to be small changes. (watches, sleeves, etc). No flags or damaged uniforms, armour or extra features.
