My goal is to create an enjoyable RPG that doesn't feel like another generic roblox RPG.
Please tell me what I did right, what I did wrong, what I should add, what I should change, or anything else!
Most of the updates to this are being made based on constructive criticism from past threads. |

Map makes no sense.
I get where you're going with the chat system; but for me I either want to be able to skip text or read it at my own pace instead of waiting; I think you got it as fast as you could tho.
The Emerald Knights aren't that original, but if you change their shirts/pants into actual art armour I think it'll make the the game way nicer.

very impressive, the map is a bit weird and emerald knights as first enemies? Other then that great job and I like that you went for a original look.

Understandable, though hitherto every time the user is presented with two choices in my dialogue system the latter choice ends the conversation

I personally like the design that they have right now, I based it off of the old 2012-2013 version of this game from my main account back when the entire thing was a flat, poorly built mess with unanimated R6 2.0 enemies. I tried to find clothing that works nicely with them. Some of the higher tier knights do have armour that clearly is armour.
As for originality in character design, as much as it pains me to say this, in the context of roblox RPGs *any* design in an original design. I reached that conclusion after playing a number of the top RPGs (top being most heavily played) and it seemed to give the conclusion that the only "character design" found in most RPG games is simply changing the colour of the enemy's torso on their hatless, meshless, sometimes faceless, unanimated bodies. Part of my goal was to change that so the enemies in each world have a unique design and actual animations - as of now I think I've done that successfully.

I didn't want to use smooth terrain (as I've already tried it as you may be able to see from the worlds in the back) but I didn't want it to be flat either, so my solution was to build my own terrain. That being said, I acknowledge that the hand built terrain looks messy in a number of places. I'm not entirely sure what you meant by the emerald knights being the first enemies, they're still level 1 and weak. Their adjective is emerald to refer to them as a group of knights using the colour green as found in their flag rather than emerald being in the context of minerals, so I don't plan on adding any iron or gold knights I appreciate that you liked the original look and found it impressive

I can't say I agree that it looks like all or even any other RPG games design wise. A lot of the most visited RPG games have only flat land, no exploration, no character design, etc. Part of my intention was to create an open world feel that other RPGs don't provide. |
