alright heres the deal
even if officers aren't as skilled as low ranks they should still know fundamentals and how to teach them to the less skilled ones
hell maybe even ask some of the more skilled low ranks to show their peers how to do something
obviously having a skilled high rank has its benefits but if someone's proficient in other areas (ie public relations) i don't think that should make them worse than the other guy |

So you're saying an officer should know how to be tactful in teaching their subjects? I agree with this.
They may not be skilled at fighting but they should be able to teach something or do something of use that would classify them as an officer. If they can't do any of those things they shouldn't be an officer. |

| If "skill" refers to RCL/raiding capability then no, they should not necessarily be more skilled, but usually they are more skilled because they have been raiding longer. |

If they are part of the clans raiding force then yes. If they work on administrative related work, then no.

Ideally, yes, but this isn't always the case.
Normally, an officer should be more or just as skilled as the clan's low ranks. It only makes sense that the officers teaching lower ranks fundamentals and combat skills should be experienced themselves.
The only exception I can think of is if the officer has a specialty other than combat to offer the clan. For example, an officer in one of my older clans was an absolutely terrible fighter. However, he was one of the best builders and coders I've ever met on this game, so I couldn't have cared less if he was getting steam rolled by individuals in the first rank.

yes, but usually there are low ranks better than an officer
usually how i think it should work is that low ranks look up to the high ranks and say "i want to be as good as them" or take on their role and carry on their leadership and then repeat that with other lower ranks. |

| They should mostly be skilled but if they have other useful skills they should remain an officer? |
