Here is another recipe from your favorite oiler himself! It does contain some r u m in it, but I have found a workaround for the younger audiences.

Let's get started!

You will need:
3 pineapple rings (drained)
2 slices of bread
3-5 teaspoons of cane sugar
2 eggs
cream
butter
cinnamon
r u m (optional)

Process:
Mix your drained pineapple with 3 teaspoons of the cane sugar in a bowl and add a dash of cinnamon. (Make sure you don't throw away the juice!! You might need it later.)
Take your bread and butter one side of each slice of bread.
Put the pineapple mixture on one slice and cover it with the other slice. (Like making a sandwich.)
Get another bowl and mix in the eggs, cream, and the rest of the cane sugar.
You can add the r u m to the eggs/cream mix but for the younger audience, use the leftover pineapple juice from earlier.
Butter a skillet and put it over some hot coals.
Cover your sandwich with your egg/cream mix (like how you make french toast), and put it on the hot skillet for about a minute an thirty seconds or until golden brown on one side, then flip.
While it is cooking, put some cinnamon on top of each side.

It is finished! Now put the sandwich on a plate and enjoy with some coffee!

Wow that sure sounds oily and delicious. I must applaud your fantastic cooking skills and how much good food and great fortune it must present to your family. Congratulations on this wonderful recipe. To be able to prepare such exquisite food at any given time period speaks wonders about your presumably good socioeconomic status.
