Hey everyone.
I've been having a REALLY ANNOYING issue with Roblox Studio, and I'm sure you people will be able to help solve it.
So, sometimes, for no apparent reason in random places, for no distinct reason, almost every somewhat-complex union (like putting holes in objects that have shapes which include more unions) comes up with the HORRIBLE "Binary data too large" error. And I know that this is an actual problem and not just me trying to do unions with far too complex parts, because when it's not doing that, I can do the same unions with ease. And this only started happening about half a year ago. Please help. |

Dump unions and learn 3D modelling. It can end up faster, better and safer than using unions and it's a useful skill for later. |

| I've been perfecting my Union skills since 2014. I can't just dump it like that! There has to be a solution here. |

The errors could be from the union being too difficult for the union system to handle. Haven't tested it but I think doing something like this may help.
I) Work with more separate unions wherever possible. II) Place the parts as if you were planning to union it all together at the end. III) Make sure everything in the place that will not be in the final union is deleted (such as any baseplate) IV) Upload the place as a Obj file. (File -> Advanced > Export as Obj) V) Convert the file to FBX VI) Edits to the file can be done using a 3D modelling program if needed VII) Upload the FBX file as a mesh https://blog.roblox.com/2016/06/uploadable-custom-meshes-come-to-roblox/ |

Or if you really want to keep using Unions, try making the Union as simple as possible early on. Say you have a large oval SphereMesh and you want to cut a bunch of shapes out of it, but the final product will only be half the height. Remove the flat bottom section first, then make it more complex with the other Negations. I also find it's better to start with a large shape and cut sections from it, rather than start small and add on. If you do it the latter way you sometimes get complex internal faces where the Parts have joined together rather than just the outer shell. |

| Seperate the unions and then replicate it individually |
