| Croatia. Lowest IQ in Europe, economy is pretty bad. I may be mixing it up with another country around that area though. |

The poorest a country in EU, is Moldova. Moldova has had some of worst side effects possible due to reforms, as the government has failed to improve their economy as the government has had a will to put tough policies in place. The country has been labeled the poorest in EU. The GDP per caps in Moldova is around $2,150, putting Moldova at the bottom of the list. Around 2004, 38.4 of families would live off of as little as $2 a day. Due to the economy, citizens are forces to seek jobs abroad, students drop out of high school, and families still continue to work at a subsistence level. The economic decline is one of the main causes of the poverty. |
