Good music: A nice beat, good lyrics that dont repeat 50 times, and a decent message.
bad music: A beat that is to slow/to fast for the lyrics. lyrics that repeat to much, and only talk about weird topics that do not work with the beat.
Note: Also notice how pop songs, the third verse is always somehow sung by another artist. (more recent pop songs, such as "Chained to the rhythm" |

| @xabi is 100% correct. The concept of good in bad in relation to art is subjective and to the person judging the art. Anyone claiming their opinion has more merit then anyone else's stupid. |

xabi's answer is right on the money, music's quality is subjective, the only instance where you can objectively judge music (or any art for that matter,) is when the artist is trying to hold themselves to an objective standard
e.g. if someone identifies their music as rhythm and poetry but their lyrics have no metre and are recited without rhythm you could say they aren't very good at what they're doing

| to me, it has to have ##### ### elements. the music itself (the beat, rhythm, instruments), the voice of the singer, and the lyrics. too many times offensive lyrics have ruined an otherwise good song, and too many times the singer's voice has messed things up. but i mean, the music itself is the most important, because if that's bad the whole thing is awful. but what counts as good and bad in those categories is mostly subjective, so... i don't know. it's all up to opinion. |
