| Has to be some educational game like this math-Pokémon-Harry Potter fusion called Prodigy is the only one worth mentioning. So, I can't. |

Well, I had a small crowd watching me play Sonic 2 today. I got to Oil ocean zone before they ditched me to watch Moana.

i'm just saying I wouldn't trust a school computer to play games until I've:
- Boot with BIOS and not UEFI, and then prefer booting with a custom bootloader which completely wipes BIOS out from RAM and disables IME/PSP. You've got 30 minutes before the computer shuts down without IME.
- Run Tails OS
- Pipe your initial Tor connection through a VPN, preferably something like TunnelBear
- Did I mention run Linux? You're not going to stay secure on a Windows system to play games. They can see your codeword info you put through the network. You want that thing hashed and encrypted and locked and protected with as many layers as you can.
- Ideally have a virtual machine w/ QEMU and KVM with ANOTHER instance of Tails which is piped through the first VPN, which then connects to ANOTHER VPN which is what's used for the initial Tor connection.
- ABSOLUTELY MAKE SURE CPU CACHE AND GPU VRAM IS CLEARED ON BOOT TIME. MAKE SURE SURE SURE IT IS.
NOW PLAY WORLD OF WARCRAFT THROUGH PLAYONLINUX. Am I paranoid? I don't really think so. |

| (So yes, play games on Linux on a virtual machine with the overhead of Tor and two VPNs (accessing one VPN from a different VPN provider), on top of the overhead created by using PlayOnLinux. So yes, it'll absolutely murder your framerate. But they can't watch you and grab your various bits of information. That's all that matters. God, I can't wait until I turn 18 so I can vote 'no' for the school's #### stuff. I've waited ten loonngggg years to metaphorically raise a certain appendage located on the hand. |

@aileron
lol do you think you're gonna get v& for playing a game at school?
we used tor but only because the schools network blocked websites. the old "bring your game on a thumb drive" works just fine |

Nope. Then again, I am no longer in school.
That said. I occasionally play video games at work. If we're quiet and everything is done, I just play EVE Online and whatnot on the work PC. Or sometimes my manager plays League on it. |

It's more of I don't want them knowing my codewords for games and online services and whatnot, and HTTPS is NOT secure enough.
There's that, and simply wanting to get around filtering, don't want them to know what sites I visit, etc. etc.
