So if I was researching time travel for my whole life and eventually got a time machine, and I went back in time into your house to tell you to tell me on this thread to time travel so that that would all happen in a loop, that's fine, right?
But then what if when my future self goes back you tell me to research time travel but then you call the police.. so my younger self reads in the news that my future self has been arrested.
What happens then? When I notice in the news that a literal exact clone of me is in jail just 50 years older? Does the universe collapse on itself? Would I gain a time travel PTSD phobia, therefore meaning that the time travel couldn't have happened in the first place? Been wondering this for a few days and everyone's talking about time travel so perfect opportunity :^)
