| but yeah most of the stuff i learn is useless and i would have a much higher gpa which would actually help me more if i took regular classes but my parents wont let me |

in canada there is the issue with money and such too
if you take an ap course that means you get credit for undergraduate courses, meaning less college tuition
if you have nothing else to do in school anyways, ap school = profit + learning too |

Advanced, you could say is useless. I just took them my junior year and my goodness that was a mistake. Got straight C's all the time.
AP is different, it gives you a head start for college for whatever class you're going to take. It gives you college credit which is good when you take your core classes the first 2 years. You can't really say it's useless garbage over and over unless you're willing to put forth the effort and will enhance your working ability in the workplace. |
