why waste your time and effort doing more work for classes that teach you useless information unless your career involves all of them (which i highly doubt). honestly why dont people just take standard and stop purposefully putting stress on themselves for no difference in outcome then if you just took standard and did half the work, learning useless garbage.
only 2 classes ive taken EVER so far are actually worth something to me. i never understood why people want to take honors or AP in a bunch of worthless trash they'll never use.
"but muh college acceptance". i sure cant wait to deal with school, learning more useless garbage, for 4-6 more years, and then work a boring job that pays just a bit more.

no ap or honors student could ever be smart. knowing material you learn in school is a load of garbage compared to your natural intelligence ability. if you were actually smart you'd realize ap and honors are 100% worthless and you could just get a free easy ride through school, still get a 4.0 GPA, and do fine.

"to get into a good college"
lol that's pathetic, you're gonna actually waste your life going to college so you can end up working a completely boring job and not actually have any value?
failed to understand how that means anything

dont get me wrong, not saying education is worthless, but taking those higher level classes don't count towards anything, and in the end will just harm you.

| nah i get that, and i agree, but that's the thing. you HAVE to remember material to pass a course, and in higher level classes there's more material. damn straight i COULD take 6 AP's and get all ### because school is literally >too easy<, but that's just 3-4 times as much easy work to do instead of standard. that's how i see it though, you do you. i just never got why people who take honors/ap think they're doing something. you aren't smarter than me, you aren't smarter than anyone. you're taking an easy class that you cannot handle because children nowadays are taught to accept free handouts. you have no idea how many kids in my school would absolutely fail every class at that higher level area if it wasn't for re-doing tests and teachers giving out free extra credit so their failing students dont get them fired for "being unable to teach" |

if you want to call anything honors or AP it has to be challenging to me, and so far absolutely nothing in school is challenging. school is >too easy<. you're learning BS so you can get into college and then become a mindless drone to society working an office job thinking you're doing something.

oh no i dont plan to go to college. im studying music right now and i intend to make a career out of producing EDM and DJ'ing. i will NOT force myself to live through that crap just so i can work a higher paying job that i dont even like. if i can make minimum wage off of doing what i love im fine with that, and every other person on this planet should be too. nobody should take classes they dont care about, or even keep going to school just to earn more money at a job they don't really enjoy.

school teaches you how to be a test taker not a productive citizen
anyone can just get a GED with a sub 2.0 and join the marines or army and be out in a few years making the exact same amount of money that someone who sIaved away in school for a mediocre entry level internship would get
add on job security for veterans in things like local police departments and you're set |

and since people like to think "LOL DJ DEAD END JOB LOSER". lol ive been training in music for 5+ years professionally with top level music theory classes, going to private music education schools, and etc just to make this career happen.
if you cannot say you love what you do then you are a failure, no matter how much money you make. and how i see it no job coming out of college will be something i enjoy.

''unless you plan on going to military or cc for 2 years you better start taking higher end classes''
whats wrong with that?
go from military, take reserve pay when active contract expires, attend a cc or have mediocre enough grades for a bit of a higher up university and use it for a real world job |
