Next major updates for The Conquerors 3:
- New gamemode: Deathmatch. You spawn in with a maximum amount of money and no plants. Stuff gets produced faster. If you lose all your buildings, you lose. This gamemode is more arcade-y in that you don’t have to spend 80 minutes per round.
- New lobby. I want to completely redesign the current lobby. I’m thinking of letting people create their own rooms with their own settings (alliance mode(perhaps free for all?), map, gamemode, and minimum level requirement) and people who choose to join rooms instead of create them can pick and choose what they want to join. The room creator can kick people he doesn’t want in the room(but not ingame once it has started). I’ll have an option to automatically match you into existing new servers that need a player, or let you pick what existing server you’d like to join out of the server list. This should help fill up servers because you can just hit quickplay, or if you are a veteran you can start a room with other veteran only players. I may also be able to squeeze in competitive matches where you can see a person’s (competitive only) wins/losses/leaves record to gauge how reliable a match the person might be.
- Because of my new interface and new skin system I have finally unshackled myself from skin sets and can now add new units and buildings without worrying about making the 3-8 skins for the new unit/building. I may release a new building that I have thought of. Hint: it is a building unlike any currently ingame ;). Expect new units and buildings from now on. Some new skin sets, such as an amazing Japanese building pack, Modern American navy, and Italian WWII soldiers. Possibly more.
- A tutorial mode for brand new players. It’ll offer a basic reward at the end if you complete it and will take you over the basic things you must know.
Before all of these updates go out, likely at once midway through next month, I’ll be tweaking and adding settings to the new interface to make it more comfortable for everyone. Such as the mouseover k hotkey from before, interface size scaling, unit spread feature, etc.

Hey BrokenBone,
I'm in the discord as well as the fan group, and I have a question about the Deathmatch game mode.
Prolonged Deathmatch games would virtually either lead to a standstill, or tend to the player who backs off the battles the most. How would you prevent these short-sighted outcomes to the new game mode? |

I can make the coin bonuses based more off of who did stuff rather than who lasted. Wins aren't even tracked so there wouldn't be much point in holding off.

| The tutorial should be a toggle-able option for anybody, new or old, although it should be automatically turned on for new players. What if old players want to do the tutorial just to see what it's like? |

A fast-paced deathmatch mode sounds fun, will units move faster and will income be #### ####### ## ###### isn't increased, but the starting funds are, it may be the case that whoever isn't attacked and keeps most their starting funds will win, since the teams that made more plants and got in more fights can't compete with the one-time huge bulk-rush force of the player sitting in the corner. Also, what makes you expect more players to use the quickplay/select server option with the new lobby? Might a (smaller) "joined midway through" bonus be added so that players who join midway into a game are rewarded?
Also, the current team valuing system is fairly bad. Especially in the early game, an untouched team that made an airport and immediately left is valued over a team that made plants and perhaps lost one or two and decided to ragequit - which lowers their net worth but at least they've got more capacity to fight than someone with 10 income and an airport.
Teams that are incapable of making a comeback (such as ones where the only remaining assets are oil rigs and a huge lump sum of cash) are occasionally chosen over ones that can at least do something, and often I join into teams that appear to just be downright inferior to other options (the trend seems to be I join into the first available team instead of the stronger one). |

you should re-do the whole space ships thing. playing gets kind of boring once everyone in the game has planes. you should add satellites(research it first then build of course) that you can shoot into space to get the radar. but you would also need launch pads to send more stuff into space ect. you should also add space mining as a money source like power plants and oil rigs. would be really cool

| Very Good Idea I like how you added The Choose Create your own lobby and minimum level Plus you should try to fix the Player leaving. Cause each time at the beginning of every conquest I play There is a minimum of th ree player leaving. Which result in a very BORING GAME Plus there should be more reward for more faction you killed I solo my self against all the other faction and earned ? I was expecting higher than that. Tutorial mode is going to be a very good idea Because sometimes you don't get a good ally ( UH HOW DO YOU BUILD THIS? UH HOW DO YOU MAKE UNIT? ) I go AHHHHHH Deathmatch is a cool Mode if you think you won't have enough time To play A Conquest Round So yeah. All of these are goods idea and goods thought! I hope to see this incoming update on the game. |

Yes I can do that. The server would not be posted on the server list, the only way to join would be to connect to last played server. Whether people can follow you through the website or not would be a bit more complex.
