So if you open a script and press CTRL F, it will highlight the words you type in and replace them if you want to.

That's a pretty standard shortcut that applies to a lot of programs. With programs like Notepad or Microsoft Word, it's usually Ctrl + F to find and Ctrl + H to replace.
