somewhat experimental but i'm making a game about europe
https://twitter.com/WizardBrendon/status/809211402900697088
this gif is slightly outdated but it features a part where the user can click on various provinces the provinces are unions
the issue is it's hard to see where one province ends and another begins i have outlines enabled
any ideas for how i can make a system that solves this issue? i know i could just build lines but that would look bad and i'd have to think of something more noticeable if i come up with a system for national borders

Clone the union, make it slightly bigger, move it down .01 studs?

no distance between them wouldn't be visible without remaking the map

move the selected country up .02, clone the border and move it up .01

that would help the user see which is selected
though i'm hoping there's a way to generate subtle lines between unions or something similar not sure whether i'd do something very complicated or very simple

Oh I misunderstood
You could always run something to premake borders in studio.
local clones = {}
for i, v in pairs(countries) do local c = v:Clone() c.Size = c.Size + Vector3.new(.2,.2,.2) c.CFrame = c.CFrame - Vector3.new(.1,.1,.1) table.insert(clones,c) end
wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/Plugin/Union
use that on clones
