Kestrel // Supervisor Training Competence Evaluations

INTRODUCTION

Hello! As you may know, Kestrel currently has a large amount of employees at the rank of Supervisor. In this rank holds a lot of power and responsibility, as Supervisors should be capable of managing the entire Homestore and training Interns. Most of which at the rank however, have fallen inactive and are barely invested in the day to day success of Kestrel. Because of this, the Operations Department has instated Supervisor Activity and Competence Evaluations (SACE).

BREAKDOWN

Evaluations will be conducted over a period of three weeks, from Monday, May 15th, to Sunday, June 4th. Every Supervisor must conduct one Intern training, with a maximum of one Intern present, and the supervision of a Board of Directors+. We ask that all Supervisors only train once within the 3 week period, as it’s very important every SV gets the opportunity to get evaluated.

SETTING UP YOUR EVALUATION

To begin an evaluation, find an Intern who says they have been their rank for more than two days. Once you find someone to train, it is crucial you get in contact with a Board of Directors+ that can supervise you during training. Do not train without supervision. Once you find someone, have your supervisor confirm that your trainee has been their rank for 2+ days. Then, head down to the training center for your evaluation!

NOTE: For the sole purpose of evaluations, all Interns can be trained as long as they weren’t promoted to the rank of Intern the same day. This implies a 2+ day rule, instead of 3. All other ranks are to still follow the 3+.

TRAINING MATERIAL

While being evaluated, it’s important only the sole Supervisor evaluatee is training the Intern. The Board of Directors+ supervision or any other observant can not assist in the training. While training, please follow all material stated here-

INTERRUPTED TRAINING PROTOCOL

If the evaluatee has to leave during the training, the Board+ supervisor finishes the training.g. The Supervisor must retake his/her evaluation another time.

If the trainee has to leave during the training, the Supervisor must also restart with a different trainee. When the trainee wishes to finish his/her session at another time, it must be done by a Senior Manager+, a SV isn’t allowed to finish a session for his/her evaluation.

If the Board of Directors+ Supervision has to leave, they must actively ask on discord if anyone is online and can take over supervising.
(a) If no one is available, the training must be halted and continue at a different time. When continued, the trainer must be a Senior Manager+ (a evaluatee cannot continue it.)
(b) If someone can take over, they can do so. Both evaluators will turn in a report.

SCORING

All evaluators will fill the following out and submit it via PM to the “KestrelOperations” account.

Rate all performance aspects on the following scale-
1 - Excellent; Flawless
2 - Great; Can be perfect with a couple little changes / notes
3 - Good; Can reach perfection with several changes
4 - Needs lots of assistance
5 - Incapable of improvement; Recommended immediate demotion.

Please rate your Evaluatee on the following skills using the above scale.
1. Grammar
2. Following the training material
3. Catering the training towards the needs of the trainee (taking time to wait, gives the opportunity for them to ask questions, etc)
4. Can give insight on the material, does more than copy and paste.
5. Positive attitude
6. Professional behavior
