Hello,
I'm working on a build request from someone as part as the group "Hidden Developers" and this guy wants to make H1Z1 in roblox but I want to use a map from Arma 3.
The map from Arma 3 CUP maps is called Southern Sahrani and it is 34.3 km^2 in the game. This person wants me to build it full detail with roblox terrain & detailed cities with interior. And he's offering me 40K and a percentage of his upcoming game.
Is it worth it or not for that commission he's offering me?

| You do realise ## ###### kilometers converted to roblox, assuming a player is 2m tall for simplicity, is absolutely ridiculously huge. To proper scale, nothing like that has ever been made on roblox and it couldn't possibly be rendered on ### ###### Spread across a universe type system it would take years to make and be worth millions of robux. |

This guy doesn't seem to know that making a map that huge would cause huge amounts of lag for the level of detail he wants. 40k seems reasonable to me though.

Thanks for the feedback so should I cancel the project as I've already made a a big outline of the map with the sand tool in studio.
So should I just keep building it and sell it once it's finished?

Easiest way is to work out how long you think it would take, then factor into it if you could earn more R$ off other projects in the same time frame, according to your skill in so forth. 40k is reasonable it really just depends how skilled you are.

In terms of skill I could model an idris-M from star citizen full scale including every single wire and door and panel on it with a lot of patience and hard work.

Doesnt worth it. Believe me that map can cost like 150k+ I know those games. Also it will lagg Too much with ''full detail''

40k would be unreasonable unless it's a majority percentage.
I would pay somebody in the hundreds for that much work. If it came out as elaborate as you describe.
I WOULD NOT make a project that scale though. It wouldn't do well once it got to dealing with the limitations of ROBLOX. |

I wouldn't bypass any hardware restrictions because it can melt your PC
