This shall be documented as the "Private Property Weapons Ordinance"
This ordinance, upon passing by the Las Vegas City Council, shall regulate display and use of weapons on private property.
With the combined risk of public harm along with retaliation by police and civilians due to the threatening nature of displaying a weapon without proper reason to do so, this ordinance shall enact such:
(a) - Display of Firearms purchased from and by any entity on private property, whether it be a personal household, business, or place of gathering within public view, shall be prohibited.
(b) - Discharge of a firearm by individuals, whether it be directed towards a person or not, without proper reason to do so, shall be prohibited.
(c) -- Penalties -- - 1st Occurrence - Warning issued by member of Law Enforcement - 2nd Occurrence - Violator placed under arrest by member of Law Enforcement under "Threatening Behavior" if weapon is displayed, or "Illegal Discharge" if firearm is discharged.
(d) This ordinance has been proposed due to the fact that display of weaponry in public view by individuals, even if it's on private property, poses a risk of retaliation by an outside individual.
This ordinance does not permit the removal of weapons from civilians, which would violate the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution.
(e) The following places shall be exempt from section (a) this ordinance:
- SS/HLS/FPS HQ - Prison - Las Vegas Police Department HQ - Special Weapons and Tactics HQ - National Security Agency HQ - Central Intelligence Agency HQ - Special Forces HQ - United States Military, Las Vegas Garrison

^ I completely agree with the 2nd Amendment, but it doesn't say you can have them out in public. This would regulate the use and display of firearms in PUBLIC view.
Private display w/o the public eye seeing is perfectly fine. Display in public just agitates people who use weapons legally.

Once again, local municipalities are not permitted to pass any ordinances with legislative weight. See United States v. Las Vegas, 2 U.S. 5 (2017). The Constitution does not afford the councils any right to make laws within their respective city.
