oh boy note: i didn't create saurian history, rageofderp did a "saurian" is a lizard man, though i was human scalie? probably https://www.roblox.com/library/425079770/-- that's the standard species, and the others are a different story based on where they are
--the blood wars
we started in the Caribbean islands, in small tribes based on beliefs and whatnot. not even i, the co-founder of sauria, know all of rage's religious lore for sauria. all i know about this part is that there were many, many bloody fights between tribes or so
--pre-sauria
the Cipactli tribe turned up around 5000 BC. Teotl-Tlahtoani's death sent it into civil war which caused many many deaths and whatnot. he never went in depth with me on these parts.
--divided sauria
basically a city-state, but the civil war caused it to divide into two chunks that fought for around 100 years till 150 AD showed up. they had to unify cuz of neighboring empires.
--Saurian Empire
this brings the basis of the empire. all neighboring tribes merged so that we could hold a steady upbringing for our nation.
--tribes and states of mesoamerica
quickly colonizing the aforementioned region, sauria also explored north and south america in attempts to increase trade and gain allies. sauria soon became colonized like all the empires in the americas.
--spanish colonization (1521 AD)
edgar ########## hunt for gold ended in the loss of many saurian lives, but he was eventually driven out. this is where my time in sauria starts, shortly after this. |

up north, far far above where sauria lies, in the center of canada, there was a large town. this town was very, and i mean VERY large. about 17 mi by 17 mi long. in an age where wagons are common and horses are standard transportation, this is a shockingly oversized city. it was completely surrounded in a stone wall about 25 feet high. the north, south, east, and west points are all large gates manned by saurian guards. this city had the most human presence.
this requires a quick summary of the imperial war, though. a guy with a country based off of warhammer 40K called the Imperium of Man basically had a bunch of rogue dudes who wanted to purge all of the saurians and had a huge ally base to fight us, but during the battle i actually convinced them that they were crazy and they rebelled against him and sauria prevailed.
he wanted revenge so he gathered all the remaining members of the group and caused a huge internal lockdown of the city. explosions, tearing up buildings, fortifying important locations, basically forcing us to siege through internally. think of the battle of mosul that's happening as we speak.
i had to do some genetic mutation to create a creature based off of the strider. it fires resin cannonballs and resin musketshots. over the course of 4 months, we slowly took them out just in time for christmas. constant dragon airstrikes, blowing up buildings full of IoM croonies, it took forever and it's still being rebuilt. the siege of the capitol finally blew open their doors and let us off with our town back. |
