guys, do unions reduce or increase lag? what's the benefit of using them?

For the lag part I don't know I've been told it "could" reduce lag (althought i really got the impression that it doesn't matter)
Benefits? Well you can make weird shapes out of it, you can also union things together to make them look like they are together, which they are, therefore they look smooth |

| ###### only reduce lag if they allow to remove 150 parts or more. And that depends on the collision fidelity. |
