anything scripting or coding confuses the heck out of me
i love anything i can see and touch, whether that is electrolytic capacitors, integrated chips, transistors, resistors, inductors and transformers
i also love looking at schematics and doing basic soldering repair on old printed circuit boards
but as soon as you tell me about Lua, C+, JavaScript or more, you better be talking russian to me because idk what the heck ur saying |

"what to heck are you talking about"
lmao, this one makes more sense and works.
function eletrocute(valid){ if(valid=='PulchritudinousCore'){ console.log('eletrocuting :D'); }else{ console.log('Couldn\'t find human :(') } }
var putrid = $('.normalTextSmallBold')[4].text; eletrocute(putrid);

I'm doing an IT course next year so I can actually get some coding knowledge.
I mean I use the computer a lot but I don't actually know anything apart from very basic stuff. |

| i'm perfectly fine with heading in the direction i am, electronic and electrical engineers make a salary of 95,230 USD annually or 45.78 USD per hour, whereas a computer programmer makes 79,530 USD annually and 38.24 USD hourly |

That's because computers can't electrocute you.
function RandomMath(){ return Math.random(); }
for(var i=0;i<20;i++){ console.log(RandomMath()); } |

| Smart people discharge the capacitor not touch it. I've got a psu unit, goes up to 12v I think. |

"Smart people discharge the capacitor"
without googling, tell me how you discharge an electrolytic capacitor without shorting it
"I've got a psu unit, goes up to 12v I think."
dude electrolytic capacitors in power supplies can be up to 600 volts. i am currently holding one right now i desoldered off a board and it reads 200v at 680 microfarads
that's more than enough to hold charge for a long period of time |

Where'd you get a power resistor from?

if that was an answer, then you are correct. you use a resistor. the one i'm using is a 150k 1/2 watt 5% tolerance resistor i got from amazon. good job |

i plan to take electrical engineering, but going in with some scripting knowledge may benefit me
some jobs in electrical engineering require some proficiency in coding
but even then, it seems like a fun hobby. making your own scripts and stuff and being excited when it does what you want it to do |

| It's takes dedication. YOU MUST be self driven to learn computer programming YOU have to tell yourself you will learn computer programming. Also are you starting off with complicated Computers languages? |
