Hi guys. So today I propose to you a problem that occurs only in a server, and not in studio.
I clone a statue model to the workspace, and inside it are limbs and a humanoid.
In studio when I do this, the humanoid's health remains the amount in which I implemented it. In servers, however, BOTH the humanoid's health and MAXHEALTH are 0 which make no sense to me..
Could it because the legs are cancollide false? The statue is basically just a hitbox for bots to target and deal damage to. Everything in it is anchored. It has a head, torso, humanoid root part, and legs. |

Yeah it's definitely a server-sided bug.
I don't get this, I set the max health to 2500 and that worked, but the statue has 0 health. |

Please learn what "server-sided" means.
Also use MakeJoints() on the humanoid when you spawn it in. |

I did, made no difference.
And yes, pun. I'm aware of the irrelevant matter of the definition of "server-sided"
A:
The server section of the game (server and client)
B:
Launched from a server and not from a client in Studio
Thanks though... |

Any other ideas? ._.
The whole model is anchored, using it only as a hitbox for this model.. Idk why it works in studio but not in a server. |

local statue = map:WaitForChild("Statue") local realStatue = map:WaitForChild("StatueModel") local human = statue:WaitForChild("Humanoid") statue.Parent = game.Workspace statue:MakeJoints() statue.Humanoid.MaxHealth = 2500 wait(.1) statue.Humanoid.Health = 2500
My code. Runs server sided in a module script.. gonna test it again but it seems like it's a roblox bug with FE. |

| Try adding a wait() before MakeJoints() |

General rule is to make sure everything is in place, maybe you missed the HumRootPart or something. Quite weird. |

@Intended, fairly sure that'll kill the humanoid, because they'll be no welds.
Have you got a humanoidrootpart?

I actually tried that too Intended.
So basically, I made an invisible figure that has all the limbs anchored, so it acts as a hitbox rather than a moving NPC. For some reason though, in a game's server, I print out the health of the statue and it says 0. In studio test mode, it works fine.
This is driving me nuts, as of now, I blame roblox. I could try to make a custom humanoid using number values.
Got nothing else to really try.. |

My best bet is a badly-assembled rig Try and replace it with a copy o your character from play mode or something |

| I used a model resize plugin to modify the size of this properly rigged NPC from free models. But why would it work in studio and not a game server? Makes no sense to me. |

It doesn't work in a server because in the server there are plenty of variables studio ignores.
Also that explains why it won't work, your parts are probably strangely offset or something.
Make it from scratch instead of using a plugin for this. |
