It is annoying when you are developing a game which contains a ton of UI, and you realize you need an entire extra image, because the image you are working with will need to be flipped horizontally (or vertically) throughout some part of your game. Typically for a 2d UI (ImageLabel, or ImageButton), you would have to go back to your computer and flip the image horizontally or vertically respectfully using your image editing software, then upload this new flipped image to ROBLOX, simply because the GuiObject.Rotation property does not exactly handle Image flips. As a suggestion to get around the hassle of this perhaps ROBLOX could add a method to any class which contains a type Content property that would render the Content image pixels in reverse of what they normally are, thus flipping the image. (or instead there could be a method inside Content [Content:method()], kind of like [CFrame:lerp()]; which would do the same thing) Lastly, the method could have two overloads, one overload would take a parameter that enables or disables flip rendering of the Content, and the other overload would take a parameter possibly being a future Enum, determining whether to vertically flip the image, horizontally flip the image or both; for example say that there was Enum.ContentFlipType, which contained 0:Horizontal, 1:Vertical, 2:Inverse. (Inverse being Horizontal and Vertical) An example of this would probably look like ImageLable.Image:Flip(true); ImageLabel.Image:Flip(Enum.ContentFlipType.Inverse); making it extremely easy to flip image content in your game via code. I appreciate those who took the time to read this, consider it, and/or constructively criticize it. Personally it would make me more than ecstatic if ROBLOX decided to implement this idea. |

no i love having to use 4 separate images for the exact same thing but flipped and i also love having to clone the same image to make a looping image for the entire screen instead of having an image "looped" property. much more efficient
