It won't clone the nametag into the player

What is NameTag? If it's a tool then it goes into Player.Backpack If it's a local script then it goes into Player.PlayerGui or Player.Character |

| Well then you have it disabled, or parented somewhere scripts don't run, or don't have a child inside it named NameTag. Or you have another script that removes it after it is parented to the player. Take your pick. |

It's not disabled
The script is parented in ServerScriptService
The child named NameTag is within ServerStorage, which the script accesses
No scripts that would do such a thing

Well that isn't what you asked for in the original post. The second script you posted works too though and does exactly that. |

If you want it cloned to the character, then set the parent to the character... you only set it to the player.

See but for whatever reason, it isn't cloning the nametag at all, I'm gonna use prints, see what happens

Yea I don't know man, my animation scripts have been acting funny too, my animations won't replicate, but others have been complaining about this too

Animations are glitched rn I believe, but I just tried your second script and it works fine. Are you actually going into the Character in studio and seeing if "NameTag" is there?
