Do not worry!! It doesn't matter that you're a kid, you can still learn scripting and script too! Start off at the ROBLOX Wiki, http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php

When learning how to script all you need to do is learn the key words of scripting and what they do, trial and error is your best friend when learning.

I've ACTUALLY got some scripts that do so.
You need them? |

Best way to start is to take free models and look at the scripts in them. That's how most people learn that stuff.

| Ouch, I hope it wasn't me you were talking to about the starter place, I modified it and added my own scripts to it but apparently you can't read. Try the wiki anyway and maybe if you stare at it long enough something might happen. |

| I tried to script yesterday. Seems like I put in a command that tells the computer how to crash the studio by accident -_- |

Let me teach you how to script.
The basic part of scripting involves changing object properties, just like you'd do with the explorer and the properties tab.
Wanna change the colour of a brick? The size? Whether it's anchored or not? ITS EASY!
All you have to do is give the address of the object, and tell it what to change the property too. So, for example to change the properties of the baseplate you would use:
Workspace.Baseplate.CanCollide=true --(or false, if you want false) Workspace.Baseplate.Anchored=true --(or false, if you want false) Workspace.Baseplate.BrickColor=BrickColor.new("Bright red") Workspace.Baseplate.Transparency=0.5 --enter any number between 0 and 1 Workspace.Baseplate.Reflectance=1 --enter any number between 0 and 1 Workspace.Baseplate.Size=Vector3.new(200,2,400) --change the numbers to what u want Workspace.Baseplate.Position=Vector3.new(0,100,0) --change the numbers to what u want
That's all scripting is. Open up a new place right now, make a new script and type that in. Then check and uncheck the disabled box and make sure the place is running. If it's not working tell me, honestly scripting is ####### easy once you get the hang of it. |

tl;dr
But I know what you're trying to say, I'll just quote what I said to another person:
"A number of ways are available to learn RBLXLua
Here are just some ways: The roblox wiki(http://wiki.roblox.com/?title=Scripting) The roblox youtube Looking at scripts in free models and try to self teach
Remember, it comes with time and practice.
Also, always test your scripts and re-write them multiple times so you can remember it." |

Glad your trying to learn, let me teach you the basics.
I used to be like this, and it is very easy for kids to learn, I am not trying to determine my age but I am one. So, you'll need to check some YT tutorials, they are very useful. Try contacting info@roblox.com and they may help, and maybe the scripting wiki may help. |
