Town Of Incidence: Town of Incidence is an upcoming town allowing, eventually, multiple games to connect in currencies and social life. All games ###### ## the network can be accessed through the Town of Incidence server. A game pass of a small amount, maybe 5-10 robux, would allow players access to the cross-game currency exchange. Prices of currency is dependant upon the worth of each games' currency.
Setting: The Town of Incidence project is based off of the Sword Art Online universe. In the SAO universe, players are allowed to transfer avatars and, in some cases, currency. This allows players to be able to continue their journey in another game, without losing too much.
Mission Statement: The goal of this project is to allow players to travel between their favorite games without the threat of losing all of their hard-earned cash. I believe that this idea could revolutionize Roblox. The currency will have to be closely monitored, to prevent inflation. Instead of spending money to purchase Robux that you use to purchase in-game currency, or instead of spending your hours away grinding for currency, would it not be better to take currency from your older games and trade them for the new?
Contracts: Although official contracts will not be available until release, the idea should remain constant. Game creators want to make some Robux, that’s obvious, and I don’t plan to take that away from them. They made the game, they deserve the credit and the Robux that they worked so hard for. Depending on price orders and currency-to-robux costs, the owner of the game will receive the proper amount of funds every month. This allows for you to still make Robux while allowing players to more fluently switch to your game. Also, by allowing players to exchange the currency of other games for your game’s currency, it promotes players wanting to switch and play your game. Who wants to go and play another game when they’ve spent the past few hours grinding away at a game? This system will allow players to switch games without having to worry about losing their currency. A series of currency checks will be performed on a routine basis for each game, to check for inflation and currency value. Therefore, the less inflated the currency your game has, the more Robux it is worth for you. This contract is entirely up to the client and can be manually shutdown at any time by both parties. This prevents abuse from any game owner part of the network, also preventing abuse by project developers.

Good idea! Deffinately would be game changing if you could pull this off. You probably should let tycoons into this network though, it'd be a bit broken.

That's actually quite accurate. I do think tycoons would break the system a bit, might make it genre specific too.

Tycoons could actually be used to counter inflation by simply making them not function like most popular tycoons that exist. Like don't give them a money printer basically, and make the tycoon more about buying stuff than making money.
That way you could make money in one game and take it to the tycoon to buy parts of your building.
The tycoon should still have tasks you can do to make money but nothing you can do while afk and with a low pay rate compared to the other servers. |

############## ##### I do understand N3p7une's point. If you take some money from an RPG/FPS and go to a tycoon, then just plow that money into machines that do it all for you, it would be a bit edgy. Although I do agree that it could work if you changed the way the tycoon worked a bit. It's more or less up to the game developers.

I'm the lead developer for this project, but the idea is for this network to all other games to connect to it. Instead of just having the 1/2 games I might make for it, it could work with other games of other developers.

^ If you mean commit to putting their games to the project, I plan on doing that the month prior to the release of this network.
