Can I have two camera types at once? Such as Scriptable and Custom both inside CurrentCamera at the same time.

I was thinking of using workspace.CurrentCamera.CameraType = "Scriptable","Custom"

In addition to Camera Manipulation, http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Enum/CameraType You can't have ### ########### at once. You could SIMULATE it with Scriptable, but other than that no.

It's not even logical for a view to be in two places at once, what on earth

Can't understand what your saying. I already checked that link too. Were else did I find out about CameraType? Anyway, that's not the point. Can I add multiple CameraTypes at once?

Again,
You can't ACTUALLY do it.
But you can SIMULATE it through Scriptable.
I don't know why you'd want to do this though. |

True. So you want it to both follow the character and not follow the character? The camera can't be in two places at once, we'll call it that.

N. When I set the camera to scriptable, it stays in place and doesn't follow the player. I want it to follow the player and stay scriptable too.

You'll have to code all the Custom properties, i.e:
Scroll up = get closer, down = farther
Right click to drag
etc.
You'll have to use RunService's RenderStepped and Camera.CoordinateFrame
