Well frist of all, I understand they're grossed out by it being used by somebody they dont know. And thats ridiculous. You can wash something, and it'll be fine. And if that still doesn't convince you, then ya know that water you drink? Yeah, thats been through countless peoples bodies, and some really nasty things have happened with it. Also, you can get some real nice clothes there for cheaper than Walmart and other thrumpy cheap stores with clothes like that. Most of the pieces you get at thrift stores are fairly unique, and I doubt you'll find many others, if anyone wearing them. And you can find designer brands and pretty expensive clothes for cheap. Also if its your ego that's making you refuse to shop at a thrift store, thats your problem because you're missing out. Like I shop at nice stores too, but thrift stores are really cool and I don't understand why they get hate, please explain if you can.

I got a Halogen camera lighting kit at a thrift store for $15. I saved about a hundred bucks. I love thrift stores.

Thrift stores.
The place where low income 20 year old women can get vintage furs for an affordable price and pretend they're classy. Secondhand is better than directly paying the company no?
Satire and jokes aside. I like thrift stores, you can find hidden gems for good prices. |

| Most tech there is bad, excluding the cameras, they are really cool and vintage even if the don't work. Also my mom got a authentic Louis Vuitton purse for like 12 dollars, its like 500$+ new |

Thinking of it... I originally meant it as a joke, but buying furs from a secondhand retailer might be a fairly green and moral choice...huh. Not that I care much for it other than the ethics, I'm more of a secondhand leather guy.
Secondhand leather looks better than new leather. It's less stiff and the worn look gives it some charisma.
''Just don't buy computer stuff there. xD'' Heavens no that's suicide. |

Anyway, it's also useful for materials if you want to make something yourself.
Thrift stores are the place to be for ''do it yourself'' material. |

| if you buy from a thrift store, your money isn't going to the company that had poor chinese children make the shirt, so in a way it's not supporting sweatshops like buying firsthand would |

| Yeah. Everything there is cool because it all has a story and was used and loved by a whole different person(s) for a while. The worn things have extra character, and yeah thats a good idea. |

| You're not gonna find the latest trends at a thrift store. |

Some types of people start appreciating something more the moment it's no longer considered a trend.
The whole trend thing raises the price like crazy and puts a bit of an ''expectation'' on it that doesn't suit me well. |
