Having an extra code is actually a good start for extra account protection. But unfortunately, it only has a pretty small use and only protects everything on the settings page. Also, it's only a 4-digit code, something I am unable to feel secure with.
I do have a few ideas for it to make it even better:
-You can choose the length of it (4-10 digits) -You can choose whether or not it should protect more stuff by selecting boxes (examples: for protecting items, trading, etc) -Ability to reset account PIN via email if you'd ever forget it or if you'd get "hacked"

Support. We need to keep the community's information safe, this can help them. Although, good thing a 4-digit code is literally all I need. :P
Would it be ironic if the Golden Top Hat of Bling Bling was $1? |

| I would support, if numbers weren't censored for some apparent reason... |

I guess I support?
Honestly this seems unnecessary, you could just use 2 step verification and the pin code and be good to go.

I am not sure if you know, but there is an account PIN too. Look at 'Security' in the 'Settings' page, lol.

The censoring needs some fixing too.

Support.
This can prevent all hackers and botters to steal something from anyone's account. Wider range of PIN codes can make the community much safer than before.

Which is necessary to some extent. If you'd get keylogged and you have a PIN-code that literally protects everything because you chose to make it protect everything, then the KLer wasted his time trying to steal stuff from that account.

Support, but I think 2FA is more up-held We don't need multiple security stuff like this but I still support otherwise

more security is good in case your account is compromised but honestly the PIN code does need wider use, but 4 digits is fine
there's 10 thousand 4 digit combinations, so someone has a 1 in 10,000 chance of guessing it, and to prevent bruteforcing just make it where if you get 3 consecutive wrong PIN code attempts you're locked out of the Settings page for an hour or so |

Thing is. They have already added the PIN-code. You can see for yourself in settings & privacy. If you were to get "hacked", the hacked user has that last resort of security that is necessary.

That's a wonderful idea. Can't believe I didn't thought of it, lol.
