Big-O did not win MVP during his triple double record season
His team had a mediocre record and he lost to a guy who was leading the number 1 team in the league (Bill Russel) but not the best stats. Sound familiar?
Why aren't people caring about wins when the point of basketball is to win. |

| Russell won because back then players/coaches voted for MVP and Russell was liked among the players and coaches |

| Players voted for MVP back then, thats why. They looked at winning more than stats. |

| Wins should still matter. Not a player who leads a mediocre team to a mediocre record The "story" is becoming more important than the value part ######### and Co. Have gotten bodied by top teams all season... |

You do realize Durant would most likely be favored to win MVP if he didn't get injured

durant was considered for mvp but not a front runner like the other two.
not to mention the warriors has always been currys team, they run the offense through curry. |

Yet Durant was carrying "Curry's team" when Curry was literally playing like Lamelo Ball
The film is cringeworthy watching him play this season |

lol what
the first 3 months of the season curry's offensive gravity gave durant the spacing to be super efficient. he made sure durant would get accumulated with the offense.
look at the warriors in january, both of them were scoring 27 a game. |

| think about it this way. It's an accomplishment for him to have led them back to the playoffs as they lost their #1 go to guy in the offseason |

| I'm guessing Donny is the type who sits back and watches the highlights In the game vs the Rockets awhile ago I counted him abandoning his man to get the rebound about 12 different times. Several of those times Houston got the offensive rebound and ######### did not hustle back to try and play defense. This is like Charles Barkeley winning MVP, all story and stats yet leading a mediocre team in which the whole team will be absolutely bodied by the guy who deserved it. Can't wait |

| The same goes with Curry. This guy bucks up threes like he's a Ball brother and then had the defensive effort of old school ##### ###### |

lmao
the fact you COMPARE curry to the balls is hilarious considering curry has been shooting these CRAZY shots AND SCORING EFFICIENTLY. HE MAKES THEM, this year is a down year from three and he's still shooting over .405 from behind the arc.
not to mention if you watch the games his defense isn't bad. he isn't the most physical defender and gets beat by other top offensive guards. but to be honest WHO DOESN'T GET BALLED in the NBA as a guard. |

| So you didn't see when he went 0/15 from three or had 2/15 nights from three? Especially against teams who had some of the worst ####### defense in the league But okay. Let's watch them blow another 3-1 lead with curry at the helm. With Durant there they would have won in six |

| those are bad games. every guy in the NBA has those types of games. not to mention his ##### ##### slide was during the super grueling road trip so tired knees is prevalent. his shot came back to elite after the rest vs San Antonio.... I WONDER WHY. |
