| You know how old people say, "CHEER UP YOUNGSTER UR GONNA MISS HIGH (or middle) SCHOOL WHEN YOU GET OLD LIKE ME" I thought they were crazy... I figured if you think high school was the best part of your life you must have had a bad life lol... Well really it's just that you shouldnt overlook all the good aspects of high school times. I dont know that'd I'd really ever want to go back, but I kinda get what they mean. ### 2 years out of high school and I still cant really believe that it's over. I didnt particularly like high school, but I'm legit never taking another high school class EVER. Every class I ever take for the rest of my life is optional. Kinda strange times. I'm about to graduate from this college and attend another too... 0-0 |

I didnt have any friends in high school and hated high school for 100% of the time. In the end, there are still aspects that I remember.
High school was a complete failure for me but there is still something about it being over that there is some sort of feeling about... |

| I was just like you kids. I didnt like high school when I was there. Especially at the age of a high schooler it is hard to appreciate the finer details. |

I chose to forgo a large University for a small college for the first two years of college because I dont think I would have been successful.
I do not live on campus, so the "college experience" is not something I am well versed in. However, I do believe that I am ready to go to somewhere very big, so I will probably be able to better explain the "college life" better after I have truly lived in it a few years.
One thing I know is that every college's atmosphere is different. For example one college I looked at was West Virginia University which is one of the top 5 party schools in the country and you can certainly tell when you go there... That's not for me.
I also checked out Baylor which is the polar opposite a very conservative baptist environment which was sorta nice too. In the end I'm more looking for a university with the size and national reach of West Virginia but where the student body takes academics a little more seriously.
I will say that none of my friends who have attended college have changed for the better lol. Many got worse and many stayed the same. I cant think of anyone who is a much more enlightened person. |
