As you know a game always starts with an idea. So what was the first game? The first game was created in 1952 called "Tennis for Two" which was inspired by an idea in 1962 called "SpaceWar" that was the link that would cause a catastrophic feeling for game creators inspiration. So if "Tennis For Two" was the first game what was it inspired from? You may be asking. But "Tennis for Two" was actually a science experiment. So really if its a scientific observation it really doesn't take off anything.(And even though it was "said to be a video game" in reality it is just a science experiment.) So to go on to "SpaceWar" as you know there is a huge galaxy of space themed games. (see what I did there) For example, Space Invaders, Galaga, and Galactix! You may think I'm going no where with this just talking about old video games. But think about it! Galaga was created then, pong was probably also inspired by Tennis For Two. Then from Pong came a huge amount of games! Then these huge companies were created and the list keeps going on. In Conclusion, what I'm trying to say is that inspiration is a huge impact on video games and that no game is original and nothing is original except for the beginning of time and even that was inspired off of something. It is an infinite paradox that can go on forever, and ever.

You botched your essay. It doesn't make sense without any context, which is bad for your audience. Also, you attempt to make your essay informal and formal at the same time, which gets very confusing on top of the weird tenses.
tl;dr: A game is derived from an idea. Since an idea is never original, or creators have to look at something for inspiration, no game is technically original. This idea isn't great because of course nothing is original in its purest essence, but if something is made to contrast how other games are made, it is original. A game might be running with DOOM as its base, but using ZA WARUDO to stop time never been in any first person shooters, let alone the original doom, so this game is original.
you can see this as a jojo refrence but please see it as legit criticism so the mods don't ban me |

| People do not consider it a video game because although it has an electronic display it didn't operate on a computing software making it not a video game. |

Everything's derived from an idea or inspiration, movies, shows, episodes, music, albums, songs, bands, directors, games, etc.

| But isn't Tennis For Two only inspired by the maker's determination for the future, and sports? |

| that's impossible because a 1962 game cannot spark an idea from a game 10 years before. |

"that's impossible because a 1962 game cannot spark an idea from a game 10 years before."
except you stated that it did in your original post..
"The first game was created in 1952 called "Tennis for Two" which was inspired by an idea in 1962 called "SpaceWar" that was the link that would cause a catastrophic feeling for game creators inspiration."
the first game ever was apparently inspired by something 10 years into the future, the devs of that game must've had a crystal ball or something |
