Might sound like a dumb question, but every time I fire the ray, it just goes to the same place, and stacks up since it creates a part.
I'm trying to get it to fire in the direction of the mouse.
Also, I want it to travel to the location, not just teleport there upon firing.
i'll pastebin this.

Stop bumping and rephrase your question.
What do you WANT your script to do?

I want the ray to fire where the mouse is.
Right now, if you fire the event, the ray just goes to the same place. |

I was going to answer your question but,
A.) you're not being any more specific about your problem, take 60 seconds out of your unimportant day to be >SPECIFIC< from start to finish
and B.) you're still bumping

How am I not being specific about it?
I can't get any more specific than that.
I press the key, it creates a ray, which then creates a part.
The ray is supposed to follow the mouse, and it doesn't. It always goes to the same place on the baseplate, which is where the part is created.
I'm bumping because I'm not getting answers. If you're not going to help, then get out. I shall continue bumping for someone hopefully slightly more intelligent than yourself. |

This subforum isn't the cancerous soup of hazardous LMaD bio-waste that you're used to.
Bumping is just annoying spam. It doesn't get your thread any more noticed here than it would if you'd've left it for a whole day untouched.
The oldest threads on this subforum's page are from almost 12 hours ago.

Also, your question is still stupid You said it yourself: "Might sound like a dumb question" so obviously you understand your question is dumb
Question: Why do you need a RAY to create a part in the first place? Answer: You probably don't

I see now, "input.KeyDown:connect(function(key)"
You never elaborated on your question because you don't actually know a thing about scripting.
We're not going to fix free models for you. leave.
