| Hi. I wanted to know if any experienced scripters had any trouble transitioning from Java to LUA. I'm pretty fluent in Java and I wanted to start developing on Roblox. Any tips or thoughts? All comments are appreciated. |

It's a lot simpler than java. When you want to define and int you don't have to do:
public int myNum = 1
you can just set any variable as anything like:
local myNum = 1

@ExtremeBuilder15
That isn't how you define variables in Java.

You're lucky, because many languages are like Java when it comes to the way they're written, and Lua is one of them.
You should feel right at home working with Lua after you grasp the basic concepts of it. |
