is that a serious question, or are you just making discussion?
because the answer is that physics are directly associated with framerate, if FPS goes over 60 it effectively makes you "speedhack" (timescale) |

| i don't see how that works i have seen cs:go run at 254fps (on my pc) and on a 144hz tv and the player move just as fast it is just 144hz/fps looks smoother |

Not all games do this and Roblox doesn't either because this would cause problems for many users. Any game designers who do this are either on console or they are stupid. |

fps =/= refresh rate unless you're using hardware forced vsync, even doing so wouldn't give you 144fps because there's a 60 cap |

nice job calling Rockstar stupid lol read up on how the earlier GTA engines had their timescale tied to the framerate. if you take off the FPS limiter things go crazy |

| koolwater over 60fps is good for fps games but you are right for most of the game not needing more than 60fps |

because your eyes can only see 25 frames per second but your brain feels the difference between 25 and 60 - anything above 60 is not really felt at all. it is capped to prevent your computer from working harder than it should.

| No it can see way above 60 and even if it can't the response time is better (that meaning your character on 30 FPS will have more delay from pressing a key to the player moving on screen) |
