They realize they don't know how to defend it very well and thus they end up losing a lot and decide the base is "too easy" to raid (which I don't see as a problem, but whatever,) so they either update it to the point where it's massively unfair or just scrap the base and go back to the previous base.
Just take the growing pains of a new base - you'll probably lose a lot before you learn the ropes - and keep on going with it. Doesn't really matter if you lose at your base if it isn't a war.

A-SOV released a new base last week that has been getting raided multiple times a day. Meanwhile nobody raids FWII and FC is still using technology from 4 years ago.

| I don't understand why clans don't just make a new base, practice raid it with your own members for a week or two then open it to the public. That way people understand how to defend it, get used to the weapons, and understand the perspective of a raider. |

I didn't have A-SOV practice raid our new base because I didn't want to be on a higher playing field than new raiders. It would give the impression that the base is unfair when in reality the defenders know how to defend and the raiders don't know how to raid yet.
Sub-par bait, Hare

While we're on the topic Cuilan, I don't know who was responsible for Northern Gates being updated twice-a-week or weekly but that was my biggest grievance with the fort and I hope that doesn't transfer over to TCD's new base (which looks nice, btw.)

Why update your new base when you can just complain about an easy-to-raid base and pull out of a war because your clan is mediocre and can't win there while A-SOV can on the first try??

| I'm talking about how FC was out-rallied, out-skilled, and out-raided by Resade. FC pulled out of the war Resade declared because Resade could win raid after raid on ## ### ## was too incompetent and inactive to keep up with Resade and win at Vale, which A-SOV did on the first try (that version, at least.) r+://290109653 |

Yeah I don't think it's a coincidence that most wars FC enters are unsuccessful or they pull out and most wars TCD does are successful.
OBVIOUSLY TCD was at fault, right??

"oh we never actually pulled out of the resade war"
Yeah you did, FC was massively toxic on C&G whining about the Vale instead of learning how to raid properly. The "war" ended after FC realized they couldn't win there.
