| @Tefmon 49 or 50? @Eclipse Installing Desktop 9.8 rn. The new beta came out for 11, and it's pretty good. @Bringer Impossible. Verizon is planning on merging ### with Yahoo, though. |

@Borsy Pretty small nowadays. It's great to jump onto a session with broadband.

@SporkSpork It was a piece of software that came out of the 90s, and was the biggest ISP during the dot-com bubble era. They pretty much started leeching their competitors, and they then became a media company and rebranded as of 2009.

Fun fact:
The "You've Got mail!" man himself originates from Ohio (Where I've been living since birth), and he now drives an Uber in Ohio!

| ##### They're a digital media company now, so I'm guessing the software expanded outside of America. |

"I'll wait" Is that because you have to wait for your modem to dial for internet? |

@Vine Lol, I actually have broadband. I'd want to get a dial up modem, though.

I have a bunch of PCI and ISA modems lying around and have no use for them.
I don't even think dial-up really exists anymore, aside from rural areas. |

| @Vineshroom We have some telephone jacks lying around in my house, but they serve no use except for a phone that belongs to our manufacturer. I would like to build an old school PC and get ### 9.0VR for it. |

Same here, but they aren't used anymore.
I just love how incredibly aged it is now, back in the day people went crazy over those daisy-chained modems where you could have more than one person on the internet at a time.
Nowadays, the average 10-year-old kid will throw a fit and whine if it takes too long to load a YouTube video. |

| I love going on Angelfire sites. You can find some really weird and interesting content from way back when, and all of it is still accessible to this day without the aid of a system like Wayback Machine. |

@Vineshroom What if technology moved slowly, and we were still in the dialup ages? That'd be fun, wouldn't it?

| It would be fun, but I would kinda hate it. Say goodbye to any form of streaming or downloading. And you better be investing in more storage, because cloud storage and on-demand media will be a goner. |
