Valor is a fast-paced medieval game of strategy and cooperation designed by Brickman Nation. Teams of defenders must rally in order to push back the attacker and their AI army.

I've never played this but can u train healers if no u should add them and dont make them too OP

Have you noticed that one bug where if you're building a building where you're standing, it'll fling you under the map and you have to reset? I'm not sure if it happens with all buildings, or just fences, and I'm also not sure if you've fixed it. Also, is the shop new or did I just not notice it? I leave for 2 hours, come back, and suddenly, there's a shop. Also, is there any way to get stone? And, were resources staying spent (or built up, depending on whether your defenders spend more than they produce, or not) over multiple rounds intentional? Please actually read this, it's a bunch of different questions and comments, some of which are valid, some of which are merely sidenotes.

Here are a few answers to your question as of 12/31/16:

ANSWER: Yes, I have noticed it. I'm going to make it where you cannot place buildings where a player is currently standing.

ANSWER: The shop is new, I've been working on it. Notice the 'deal of the day' which is persistent across all servers and all clients. You can buy weapons and certain armor there.

ANSWER: Not yet, but I have a 'pickaxe' tool in the works that will allow you to mine the stone on the map.

ANSWER: Not quite, I am just working on balancing the starting resources, as soon as I have a good number worked out, I will force it to reset each round.

Of course, this is all subject to change based on the feedback I receive, but this is what I have planned so far.

Brick_Man, i have many suggestions if you like to hear them. First, since there is korblox and redcliff armor, can you make nomad and overseer? 2nd suggestion is more varieties of armor. I have opened many chests and i can't find anything better than my armor right now. 3rd suggestion is reducing the attackers price. I can barely win when i am an attacker so please lower the price. 4th suggestion is legendary armor. I am kind of getting bored of common, uncommon, and epic. Can you make legndary armor and rare ones too? The last suggestion is a force spawn troops button. I kind of feel abused when they just leave 1 person alive so i cant do anything. Well i have many more suggestions but they are too long.

Oh and i cant get my axe and chop down trees since i equipped the bow. Can you make the bow in the right hand and the axe in the left?

I would suggest that you buy an axe from the blacksmith for glory, except A: I've never actually had the option to purchase one and B: nevermind, I don't think you can get glory until they start spawning troops if you can't chop trees.

So I'm assuming that maybe I could get an axe from the blacksmith if I didn't have one equipped as my default gear because I like the damage.

Also, I've noticed that wood appears to have a hard time being dragged vertically, sometimes. I really don't like that about wood, especially seeing as there's no option (at least that I've found) to stop dragging it, aside from getting it over to a storehouse (actually, I don't think they're called storehouses, but I forgot what they're called.)

I have an option in the works to force the next wave (with conditions, like there has to be X troops left or something).
Also, I need to find a good solution for not being able to gather glory with items other than the axe (and soon, pickaxe). [suggestions?] Maybe I can add some kind of enemy 'scout' or something you can kill prematurely or something.? I don't know.

I have a ton of armor and hats ready to be added, so the variety problem is essentially temporary at this point. I also have more enemies coming such as the Knight (A mounted unit like the horse archer, but uses a sword). Enemies will also wear armor and hats as well soon.

As for costs, I raised the base $$ earned for killing walls, and made it where the $$ for players scales with their rank. I will probably adjust it a bit more.

Suggestion number one, however, not sure if this'll be addressed by the gearing of the enemies: Make it possible to tell your villagers apart from enemy axemen. Because, you know, they kinda look the same. Oh, and I suppose that if you use a weapon incapable of gaining valor, you can try setting up small enemy encampments or equipment sites that allow you to attempt acts of sabotage, which initiates combat. Performing an act of sabotage successfully would then introduce more glory to you, and maybe hinder the attack force. It'd be a combat operation, so it'd favor the person who chose a weapon over a tool such as a pickaxe and/or axe.

So for the sabotage thing I was thinking like small camps that would lower their maximum troop number slightly if they were wiped out, or small supply spots that'd maybe lower their maximum funding or something if wiped out. But really, they're just targets you can hit for glory if you have a weapon that doesn't act as a tool. So I suppose you could just take a couple of small camps that could be attacked for glory, in a method that doesn't actually hinder the enemy, if hindering the enemy with these attacks would prove imbalancing if you have a large defense crew that wracks up a bunch of different attack penalties. Also, my spellcheck hates me. Secondary side note, I hope this actually makes sense :|

Also, maybe new buildings :| Like, I don't know, you could learn to build towers? Walls made of stone that don't burn, but kill anybody crushed under their rubble when a catapult strikes them? Other such things? Ooh, uh, maybe you could make one of the weapons/tools building equipment that lets the wielder make unique buildings (or well, maybe not unique, but perhaps... I don't know... more advanced ones? Buildings with higher stats? No idea. Too much Thea.)

And also, as an attacker, I'd like to personally be able to join the combat. Maybe for a price, maybe with restrictions, but letting my troops do all the fighting just feels wrong. And, also, I just had a combat round where my archer had fun jumping up and down on a roof instead of doing anything. Damned archer, must've defected.

All in all, this game is going to be amazing once it's done. It's cool enough now, but the problem is it's hard to end up in a full round. Or even in a round with an attacker and enough defenders that if he knows what he's doing they still have a chance anyway.

Very good suggestions. I was thinking that maybe there could be a few 'tent' buildings with attackers in them that you could attack during the build phase. The tents will have X amount of troops in them, and if you attack them, they will guard their area. As soon as the time limit ends, those people will charge with the initial attack.

If you kill those people early, the first wave will be a bit easier. Also, there are plenty of buildings including "stone walls" in the works, as well as archer towers.

I was also thinking of something along the lines of an enemy supply spot, which didn't really have to be bad for the enemies if dealt with, but could potentially be, I don't know, looted for supplies. You know, for people too lazy/ill equipped to get their own.

Could you offer a tutorial at the beginning like you do in Notoriety? I came into Valor feeling incredibly confused, and I didn't understand what was going on the entire time I tried it out.

I also think a tutorial might be cool. Also, could you add some sort of "simulator mode" for valor, in which both attackers and defenders have extended periods of time and unlimited resources? I think that might be cool.

Random suggestion: Defense troops, and corresponding buildings. For instance, archers on defense, with a shooting range as a training building. Or maybe swordsmen, with barracks as a training building. Or perhaps, um, Polearm wielders? Can't think of a building for those guys. Also, I was thinking, maybe stables? Give you horses, and allow you to get horseback rider variants to your defenders? So many ideas, and it's still not my game, so it's still not my call.

I've been trying out this alpha and I have to say it was worth the 25 robux. I am seeing stability issues after the Shop Update(Im just gonna call it that since it added the shop) where I'm playing the round, attacker or defender, and the game will say I lost connection and make it impossible to rejoin, Is this an issue that has already been noticed or fixed? If it already is noted then I guess im just here to say that it is still there.
