You don't have to use your blinker to indicate that you are turning if you are in a lane that indicates that you are turning.
I don't understand. |

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to signal no matter what just so the other direction of traffic can see and prepare if they need to switch lanes.

| I can understand using your blinker if you're going into a turn lane but it's pretty redundant to use one in a turn lane. |

"you technically do need to signal"
In some states, yes. But it's still stupid.
"didn't you just get into a crash"
what does that have to do with anything |

Let's see here.
You: a) are a Florida driver b) are 16 c) just got into an accident
don't question other drivers.
I personally use my turn signal literally at any lane change or maneuver except pulling into parking spots (except - lol a double negative - when it's a busy shopping center/store parking lot) or pulling into my own driveway. That even means when I exit/enter a highway. And yes, even when I'm in a turn lane that has an arrow marked where I need to go.
I do something "old timer Texans" do and Deadman says I shouldn't but whatever he's not in Texas anymore, if someone comes in front of me in my lane (at night) and activates their hazard lights, I'll respond by flashing my brights two quick times. Road speak for "thank you, you're welcome" but at daytime waves are the way to go |

| The point of a turn signal (I don't like to call it "blinker" aaaahhhhhhh ###### ## now) is to notify other drivers as to where you are going. This still applies even when you think it may be obvious |

| "only time i dont is when im ### only one on the road, which is very rarely" yeah, I guess that too probably happens a bit more than rarely for me since ### drives I do are mostly on urban/suburban streets that aren't that busy except for rush hour and on rural streets |

| I always use my blinker, even if it's just me and it's the most backwoods road in the middle of armpit pennsylvania that no one drives on |

why would you not use your blinker? it's actually safer to use it, and there's no reason not to.

because going into a turn lane and then switching back to the lane you are in is becoming increasingly common

"meaning you should probably be focusing on *you* doing everything right"
I do. I'm allowed to complain about dumb driving practices though. Idiot.
"You: a) are a Florida driver b) are 16 c) just got into an accident"
Yes, yes, and yes, but none of those points prove anything.
"don't question other drivers."
Because if I'm 16 and have gotten into an accident it immediately invalidates my opinion on other drivers.
ok bud whatever you say |

| I'm still puzzled as to why Louisiana drivers and Texas drivers are supposedly the "worst and second-worst" drivers when it should be Florida drivers and then California drivers |
