| I've recently fell in love with ROBLOX's pathfinding service, and I want to use it for flying objects. Unfortunately, the pathfinding service assumes it's making a path for a character, or anything on land. Is there any way to make the pathfinding service work with objects that fly in the sky? |

| I haven't used the pathfinding service much, but maybe you could do something hacky like creating a temporary plane between the npc and the target destination. That could allow your flying npc to at least move in at least two dimensions towards the target pretending that the temporary plane is the ground. |

| Yeah, that could work, but the object needs to be able to fly over steep objects, and based on my knowledge of the pathfinding service, it wouldn't be able to if I tried that. |

I would use raycasting to go over things on the ground like terrain. and maybe .magnitude to see if there is anything around the plane idk |
