Ever wonder why the Earth is getting hotter? There's much debate over the matter, but the answer is really quite clear. The Earth isn't getting hotter because of "global warming", it's getting hotter because of the sun.
Now, I know what you're thinking. "But MisterSeaMonsterrrrrr if we put out the sunnn we will all FREEZE to death!!!"
Well, that is where you're wrong. The Earth has a molten core, and it is what truly keeps the planet warm enough to sustain life. The sun used to be too far away to heat the Earth, but it's getting closer and that is why Earth is getting warmer.
I say, we put the entire ocean in a rocketship and launch it at the sun, forever putting it out. |

| You are a liar. The sun is a star planet and it is in our milky way solar system. |

The sun is a hottest planet in our solar system, if "we put the entire ocean in a rocketship and launch it at the sun, forever putting it out," the result is we're dead, when earth was engulfed by the red giant. |

@Mashup
Lol, do you guys know how big the sun is compared to us? We can fit over 1 millions Earths into the sun. The ocean wouldn't affect the sun at all. |

@2005Wisher
Water would be evapored by sun, and then rain started, and the cycle starts over. |

Okay, first off, the sun isn't a planet. Secondly, what about a giant? This thread is for scientific discussion, not fantasy. |

I know, It's a red star, you can't go to the sun because of it's very hot temperature, you'll melt when you get there REALLY close. |

| Nice b8 m8 Global warming is caused by the sun, correct. But there are other causes like methane gas which is made by living things such as mammals. So should we kill all animals? But then we would starve to death. But we have had a shield protecting us called the ozone layer. Vicious chemicals and sprays have made this layer come apart letting in harmful rays of sunlight heating up our planet. If we even had a way of destroying the sun, which we don't, it would be a catastrophic solution to global warming. We would ### for several reasons. Starvation, severe severe total ice age, etc. I'm blanking. |

"So should we kill all animals?"
Absolutely! At this point, we are more than advanced enough to find an alternative to food. Animals, much like plants, just get in the way of progress now. |

"everything goes awry"
Everything in the ocean goes away. What did fish ever do for us? Removing them won't affect us in any way. |

Yep, when home to what covers 75% of the earth is just removed, I'm sure that the ecosystem will survive.

I don't see why not, but let's say it doesn't survive. We don't need any other species anymore. We are advanced enough to no longer rely on animals for food, so why keep them around? |

also nasa is a big fraud they build expensive rockets for no reason becauuse a boeing 747 can clearly fly into space (for much cheaper) and orbit earth we should use boeing 747s instead of rocketships
