| Do any of you know how I can make custom meshes? I don't have any of the tools for making meshes, and solid modeling isn't very efficient or reliable anyways. |

| also, how do people weld parts... where is the weld button... do I have to move the parts next to each other, and hope that they have a manual weld? |

To weld parts you need to use the weld surface tool on the face of a block you want it to connect to, and then basically place a part on the welded part and they'll stick without having to be anchored.
Really good for having like a swinging platform with rope constraints but you want an object to stay anchored on it and stay static while swinging. |
