| FE has no effect on this. Here's what you're doing wrong: ########################################### Also, StarterGui isn't # member of workspace anyway. Ever wanted to learn how to script? Are you trying to do this with a Script or a LocalScript?

you need to create a LocalScript in the StarterGui with the source: script.Parent:WaitForChild("ShutdownScreen"):WaitForChild("Frame").Visible = true; FE enabled causes client things such as ui and tools to be processed on the client, the server has no power over client things with FE enabled, and the client has no power over server based things such as statically created bricks in the workspace, or serverStorage/ServerScripts. Communication between the client and the server is usually handled with a third party object, either a remoteEvent or a RemoteFunction. I am not going to go fully in depth into Filtering Enabled though as this is not a tutorial about Filtering Enabled. |

game.Workspace.StarterGui...? What?
First of all, affecting the StarterGui won't replicate to players once they've spawned - it only affects players who respawn. |

| Then you're probably using WaitForChild wrong. For future reference, it helps to #### #### along with the output you get. Ever wanted to learn how to script? Check out my YouTube channel: youtube.com/austintheslayer Want to see me code in action? Follow me on twitch: twitch.tv/austinrblx |

| If it is stuck in an infinite loop then you either called :WaitForChild() wrongly like wrath said before, or you didn't even create a screen gui with a frame in it, or you put in the wrong name as a parameter to WaitForChild. |
