compare roblox games to just about anything outside of roblox and none of the games really stack up in terms of depth or quality
what if we were to take phantom forces 2017, and release it as a stand alone title 10 years ago? it would still be laughing stock to the general public |

| well roblox limits you to an extent in graphics and connection stuff, but its more of the fact that everybody (if you know what your doing) can do anything they want to, not be restricted to console or steam games. |

| ROBLOX games have lost their touch, before even if they were badly made they were charming and unique in many ways. I remember having hours of fun on those raft survival things. Even though they were ugly and made with free models it was still so fun and had a lot of interesting dynamics. Now it's just people trying to replicate existing games with lego bricks and it's like seriously why should you play this disgusting lego shooter when you can get # much better game that has the exact same premise but a lot more depth. It's like how lego changed from # creativity thing where you would imagine your own world to just being sets of boring things with instructions over and over again. Or maybe I'm just too old now. |

No it wouldn't. Most games aren't dynamic in the sense that they use math to figure out where the arms should be. They use set animations.
Phantom forces takes this originality a step further and uses inverse kinematics. It would be considered better than most FPS games considering it was made by two people.
Given a much better glib, I'm sure PF would best most FPS games on the market right now.

| What are you saying? It's better because it was harder to make for two people in a terrible engine? How do the arm animations improve gameplay. I think you are getting too caught up in the math side of things, ROBLOX games simply don't compare to actual standalones: the fact is they ARE in the ROBLOX engine which is bad. |

No I'm saying it's a good game considering that it was only made by two people, and modern FPS development teams for games like call of duty, battlefield, ########## etc consist of 50+ people. He means to say it uses physics matching with actual shooting.
Other FPS don't do this as they use auto-lock and other bad features and don't match the arms since it's a pre-set animation sequence. |

| Well they're made inside of a Roblox Engine, that's not vastly superior to Unity or the other ones out there, the style of roblox is what makes it unique, and of course they could improve the engine, but that's up to Roblox atm, there's still a lot you can do with the roblox engine, people just haven't tried to create any interesting concepts or original ideas anymore, I mean the old games back then actually had some amount of effort put into them, these new games are basically just copy pasta of a over-milked genre to gain profit nowadays, but there's still some really nice titles out in the gaming catalog nowadyas. |

| You can't compare them to outside games, because they're made specifically for roblox, and it's style. Outside games have access to way more tools, designs, and various other needs for game creation, while roblox's engine is limited. |
