On April 22, 2009, John Shedletsky began the Ambassador program, which honestly did absolutely nothing for the community, except get you a fancy little badge on your profile saying you were one, and 3 extra tix a day. On March 6, 2012, the ambassador program was shutdown; to this day, you can still find users that have that badge.
Well, onto my suggestion. A new program called the "Community Moderation" program to be instated. This would consist of users who fill out an application, and are interviewed for the position. Your account must be in good standing; you must go through a complete and thorough application and interview process; and you must be 15 years or older to partake in the program. After being accepted into the program, you must be trained on how to take reports, deal with situations, contact administrators, etc.
The powers of a Community Moderator would be as follows: >Have access to send RBLX Community staff members a notification/message (maybe on a forum like the RBLX-Dev forums?) about a situation to have a user banned/warned/terminated for their actions. (IE. InceptionTime, and other Community Staff members.) >Answer community questions that players may have about the program, and roblox in general. >Community Moderators are given a subforum to watch over, and read through; to answer questions, and remove bad threads.
--Experimental Ideas-- [Start] >Community Moderators have the power to approve/disapprove shirts, decals, place logos, etc. >Community Moderators have the power to access group only/friend only places to check reports on the game. >Community Moderators have the power to assist Roblox Staff in dealing with a situation if needed. >Roblox Staff members can take Comm. Moderators under their wing, and teach them ways they may not have learned in training. --Experimental Ideas-- [End]
Ways to recognise a Community Moderator would be: >A badge like the Roblox Staff badge, or the Ambassador badge. (On a profile) >A badge like the Roblox Staff badge, or BC badges. (In a game) >A "Community Moderator" title under the name like Roblox Staff do (On the forums)
This program would also take care of the lack of moderation that staff members don't have time to deal with, and help the community develop well. There would probably be a cap of how many community moderators are let into the program, but I don't want to toss numbers around.
*This is just a suggestion*
Let me know what you think in the replies, give your suggestions, and everything below VV.

**if this program becomes I thing, I would like to help set up and arrange it with the community staff members; and obviously become part of it.**

You know an idea is good when you don't even have to read the whole thing to know that it's good (I read the whole thing, though, just because I like reading).
:)

Back in the day, there used to be volunteer moderators. If my memory serves true, they had to turn to fully employed moderators instead (which is why all mods have to be 18+ ). I cannot remember the exact reason off the top of my head, but I do know that finding a handful of good volunteer mods could help alleviate stress within the moderation system and I will stand by that idea.
On top of this idea, recruited volunteer mods could have first shot at being a full-on hired mod when they are of age if they wish and if the administration approves of the volunteers' work. |

@Mister_Freakout I remember that program, and I remember how that didn't really turn out very well, but it did do decently while it was still in use. I'm probably going to sound crazy because my account joined in 2016 but I originally joined in 2008 on an account which I lost, and created another in 2008 which got terminated.... sooooo here we are. lol
that derailed fast.

| Well yes this is quite the idea that might solve the moderation issues. However I do recommend not to give them too much powers. I'd also suggest someone to keep these Community mods in check. |

| A mod said it was 14+ to be one. It also calls for responsibility, respect, and effort |
