HMRA Academy Advancement Guide This academy will evaluate your advancement readiness through several training and test sequences that will determine if you are capable of carrying out your duties as a sergeant or officer.
Pass Cadet [I] • Must show ability to perform formations. • Must show ability to perform musketry. • Must show competence in knowledge of facing movements.
Pass Cadet [II] • Must be able to use proper grammar when spoken to. • Must demonstrate maturity and respect when in game. • Must have a general knowledge of the group rules.
Application Deadlines • Applications to enter the academy will be open for a #eek after a #iven date. • Must have all entry requirements listed.
Ensign [I] Entry Requirements • Must have demonstrated good activity to officers and command. • Must have had no disciplinary infractions recently. • Must send a 3 paragraph essay (5 sentences each) about what you can contribute as an officer. • Must have a writ of acceptance from a Major General+. • Higher chance of entry if at the rank of Sergeant Major.
Advancement to Ensign [II] • Must be able to host a full training. Must provide all criteria successfully and efficiently.
Advancement to Ensign [III] • Must be able to order men in game. • Must be able to discipline men. • Must know how to report insubordination and other sorts of infractions.
Advancement to Ensign [IV] • Successfully host a raid or defense internally. • Demonstrate all command abilities learned. • Show leadership qualities and proper discipline of an officer. • Show activity in HMRA games.
Graduation Examination [Lieutenancy] • Must have demonstrated all practices learned in Academy regularly. • Must hold good activity and discipline in HMRA games. • Must have received no disciplinary infractions in recent time. • Must appear before a board for an overall assessment of your knowledge. (Lieutenant Test)
Graduation • Date of graduation determined by the headmaster. All requirements must be met by the day listed from Ensign [1] to Graduation Examination. If the member of the class does not pass the graduation examination by this date, then they do not qualify to advance until the next graduation is scheduled.
Class Salutatorian • Second best graduating officer overall. Will receive formal recognition as w##l as t## Headmaster's Letter of Mark which will allow for easier access to your next promotion in the main group.
Class Valedictorian • Top of the graduating officer class. Will be instated as a Captain upon graduation as well as receive the Headmaster's Letter of Mark which will allow for easier access to your next promotion in the main group.
Instructors • Instructors holding the rank of Captain+ may administer Corporal Tests I -IV. Exams are to be held by a #aptain+ with the accompaniment of 1-2 senior officers. • Instructors holding the rank of Colonel+ may administer Ensign Tests I-IV.
