obviously its still early but here are the locks imo
qb: tom brady te: rob gronkowski rb: adrian peterson de: jj watt
cant call anyone else a lock considering theres only 2 players per position.
rodgers and brees likely the only 2 candidates for the 2nd qb spot. all other spots are completely up for grabs |

my first team:
HC: Bill Belichick
QB: Aaron Rodgers (better stats than Brady almost across the board) RB: Adrian Peterson RB: LeSean McCoy Fullback: 𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑐𝑒𝑙 𝑅𝑒𝑒𝑐𝑒 WR: 𝐶𝑎𝑙𝑣𝑖𝑛 𝐽𝑜ℎ𝑛𝑠𝑜𝑛 WR: Antonio Brown TE: Rob Gronkowski T: 𝐽𝑜𝑒 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑠 T: Jason Peters G: Marshal Yanda G: Zack Martin C: 𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑣𝑖𝑠 𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑘
DE: J.J. Watt DE: Cameron Wake DT: Aaron Donald DT: Ndamukong Suh LB: Von Miller LB: DeMarcus Ware LB: Luke Kuechly CB: Darrelle Revis CB: Richard Sherman S: 𝐸𝑎𝑟𝑙 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑠 S: Eric Berry
K: Stephen Gostkowski P: Shane Lechler KR: Cordarrelle Patterson PR: Devin Hester
Brady would be an easy 2nd team. but Rodgers is just on another level stats and physical ability wise |

Tom Brady is incredibly far from a lock with all the great QBs in the NFL. If Rodgers plays at his same level for 3 more years, gets another MVP and/or ring, I think Rodgers gets QB1.

Uh...I'm assuming our methodology for the teams is different. You seem to have made a team for strictly 2010-2016, but I'm going to switch up your lineup a bit to account for predicted success for the next 3 years in addition to the last 7:
LeSean McCoy is a GREAT choice, but I feel LeVeon will overtake him as the RB2 for the 2010s due to being more of a high-profile player. Zeke or (Arizona Cardinals RB) could take the spot as well if they continue to put up MONSTER numbers.
It's hard to imagine a 2010's all decade lineup without (Dallas Cowboys Tackle Tyron _____) if he continues his success. Switch him for Peters.
(Detroit Lions great receiver) won't be on the all-decades team. Too many other great receivers.
DeMarcus Ware vs Khalil Mack is tough if Mack continues to play at such a high level.
Special teams is spot on, maybe switch Gost out for someone. Shane Lechler is a timeless iron man, Patterson is deadly, and Hester had such a great start to the decade that he's a lock. |

"Uh...I'm assuming our methodology for the teams is different. You seem to have made a team for strictly 2010-2016"
yeah, i preferred longevity over newer success for the most part. for some of them (Frederick and Martin for instance), i listed them expecting them to sustain success for the next few years, mainly because they would be at the top for i believe longer than, say Jahri Evans or Nick Mangold would be. my list is flawed of course but yeah
"LeSean McCoy is a GREAT choice, but I feel LeVeon will overtake him as the RB2 for the 2010s due to being more of a high-profile player. Zeke or (Arizona Cardinals RB) could take the spot as well if they continue to put up MONSTER numbers."
agree to disagree here. LeSean has been, imo, for sure the 2nd best RB OVERALL this decade. he's been doing it for longer than Le'Veon, and will most likely continue to do it for the rest of this decade. so it's silly to me to put Le'Veon over him when LeSean's been at the top for longer. this is another example of where i favored longevity.
"It's hard to imagine a 2010's all decade lineup without (Dallas Cowboys Tackle Tyron _____) if he continues his success. Switch him for Peters."
another one where i preferred longevity. Peters, alongside Thomas, has been the standard for great Tackle play for this entire decade. Tyron is a beast, but Peters is imo a sure thing hall of famer, and he's been doing it for longer than Tyron. if, however, Tyron continues his success and Peters just disappears, then i'd probably lean towards Tyron taking his spot. i'm just not sure yet because i don't know what to expect.
"(Detroit Lions great receiver) won't be on the all-decades team. Too many other great receivers."
well, it'd be a crime if he wasn't because he was arguably (and in my opinion, was) the most dominant force of this decade.
"DeMarcus Ware vs Khalil Mack is tough if Mack continues to play at such a high level."
yeah, i was conflicted with putting Mack over Ware. if Ware, like Peters, just disappears, and Mack continues his dominance, i'd probably lean towards putting him over Ware.
"maybe switch Gost out for someone."
idk about that.. Gost had a down year this year but he's been almost undoubtedly the best kicker of this decade imo |

while i agree that these have been the 2 best WRs of the decade, i just think AB will get in simply because he's been, well, statistically better |
