So I was standing in line at this little burger place they have in the student union at school (I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich). I noticed this receipt laying on the floor that said "175 CINDY W" at the top. I assumed that was the name of the customer and the order number, so when the cashier put a cheeseburger on the counter with a receipt on it that also said "175 CINDY W," I assumed that Cindy W had come back for the other part of her meal.
Well for starters, "Cindy W" was a guy. Still, I picked up the receipt and asked if it belonged to him and pointed out where they had the same thing at the top. "It's not mine," he said, looking a bit confused and freaked out. Then the cashier reached over, yanked the receipt out of my hand, and said "that was from a while ago," and went back to his work.
Then, I was sitting across from the fast food place and saw that the wall decal about 20 feet away from me was starting to peel off. A tiny corner had detached from the wall. So I went over and smoothed it out. I walked back to where I was sitting and noticed that, once again, it was peeling off, so I walked back over and smoothed it out again. Clearly they need to fix it.
Sound boring? This is exactly how things have been going since I started back this semester: boring. My classes are too easy and I have had nothing productive to do. Next time, I am not taking two easy classes in one semester.

@sher
You just reminded me: I have two books containing several Sherlock Holmes stories as well as A Study in Scarlet, Sign of the Four, and The Hound of the Baskervilles. Maybe I should read those to kill my boredom.

@Slurpe
That's okay. I have had days where all I did was lay on the couch and watch TV, not even bothering to eat because I didn't feel like going in the kitchen and fixing something.
Also when I came home from college I had to study for a big biology exam. Not looking forward at all to protists. I mean, I can tell a Poriferan (sea sponge) from a Cnidarian (jellyfish, anemones, corals), but a Rhodophyte (red algae) from a Stramenopile (a different kind of algae along with diatoms) is a different story. Thankfully it's multiple choice.

"Wait, what? What is essential tremor?"
A brain disorder causing a certain part of your body to shake uncontrollably.
The part of my body that's affected by this is my head. |

So your head keeps shaking? Maybe you should get that checked.

"So your head keeps shaking? Maybe you should get that checked."
That's what I've been considering.
I might be getting checked tomorrow but I'm not sure. |
